Poetry

This page features poems I have published in print and online, including my microzine Afterlife is Sweet (rinky dink press) and a couple of poem-games. Although I primarily write in English, some of my work has appeared in Hebrew, Japanese, and French translation. My long poem “Fast Travel” is forthcoming in Free to Play: A Video Games Anthology (Difference Engine).

I am fascinated by liminal spaces—where a game world begins to glitch, the limits of a semantic field, the edge of a comfort zone. My poems come out of and enter into those spaces. Almost every other poem I write features a house and/or a doll and/or something dead and decaying.

My poetry manuscript Open World, a collection inspired by the videogames I played during the pandemic, is available for publication.
